ABOUT

Over many years as a general counsel and corporate lawyer, Rick has helped his clients exceed their goals navigating complex issues including business transactions, commercial contracts, litigation, compliance, regulatory investigations, human resources, and labor matters. Rick’s practice has included managing governmental affairs for clients and his pro-bono leadership in non-profit organizations speaks to his commitment to make the world a better place. He is an adjunct professor at Temple University and has taught at Penn’s Wharton School. He recently completed his PhD in Political Science (August 2022). You can access a downloadable copy of his dissertation on Europe’s political strategy global on chemicals regulation here.  His academic work enables Rick to bring additional value to his clients by applying lessons from social science to their opportunities and challenges in a world where rapid change is the rule.

Rick is an enthusiastic participant in a variety of pursuits outside of his work. He has spent several weeks each of the past several years hiking in the Alps and the Colorado Rockies. He also loves to ski, bike and kayak. Rick also produces his own and others’ music using all of the tools of modern digital technology and is an active member of REC Philly.
