Before joining Practus, Kirk previously served as Head of Regulatory Affairs and General Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer for CNL Financial Group for their multi-billion dollar Business Development Companies. He was also the General Counsel and Head of Risk Management at Wells Real Estate Funds for three multi-billion dollar REITs and real estate private placements.
Kirk has held executive positions with some of the largest broker dealers, REITs, business development companies, mutual funds, private equity funds and their sponsors including Prudential Investment Group, FSC Securities Corp., and Federated Funds Group.
