John Ramirez has been providing business, legal, regulatory, and strategic advice to clients for over twenty years. He has assisted and advised in over $10 billion in transactions, including complex funds, investment management, M&A transactions, and public & private offerings, and spent the first 17 years of his career on Wall Street.
His clients span a variety of industries, including asset management (mutual funds, closed-end funds, ETFs, hedge funds, private equity, and US and offshore feeder funds), financial services (investment advisers and broker-dealers), fintech, real estate, renewable energy, insurance, healthcare, consumer products, and e-commerce.
Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and two sons, community service, traveling, reading, and running. John volunteers as a child advocate for abused children and has visited over 25 countries, led over a dozen backpacking trips across the U.S., and has run over ten marathons. Obviously, sitting is not in John’s vocabulary.
