Billing Specialist

Morgan Wentz is our Billing Specialist, working closely with our Firm Administrator and attorneys, to manage our client accounts. She is proficient in LEDES as well as third-party tracking systems like Legal Tracker, Allianz, CounselLink, Litigation Advisor, and Acuity. Overseeing our billings and account receivables, Morgan brings an incredible attention to detail and thrives in our fast-paced environment, addressing both our attorney’s and client’s billing needs. Prior to joining Practus, Morgan was the Billing Manager for Matushek LLC in Chicago, IL where she managed 30+ Fortune 100 and mid-market client accounts, handling all details of client set up and management, including proofreading and editing, internal and external expense reports, invoice submission, auditing, and budgeting. She also spent time as a Travel Advisor managing all client corporate transportation and lodging on-demand needs, ensuring zero conflicts with pre-existing schedules and multi-calendar management.
When she’s not working, Morgan loves to run. Remember that scene from Forrest Gump, when he was R-U-N-N-I-N-G across the country. In her own way, Morgan is replicating that effort having completed two marathons in Chicago, a marathon in Honolulu, and 13 half marathons all over the states! When she’s not on the move, you can find her putting together puzzles and doing something she REALLY loves, assembling IKEA furniture, which as she says, brings her moments of zen.
