As Accounting Manager, Candice Brown works closely with the VP of Firm Administration and Practus attorneys, managing the firm’s accounts payable and accounts receivable responsibilities, as well as IOLTA account reconciliations and deposits throughout the country. She provides input and guidance on financial strategies, providing analysis to identify discrepancies and other potential issues.
Prior to joining Practus, Candice spent 8 years with a firm in Louisiana focusing on ProLaw training, generating company financials and client billings. Candice brings a wealth of knowledge to our team, with 15 years of experience working in accounting, finance and management with attorneys.
When she’s not working, you will likely find Candice enjoying road trips and international travel with her husband Chad. Whether it’s a music festival or new hip restaurant, they are always ready to pack a bag and hit the road. They enjoy camping in Toledo Bend and rooting for their LSU Tigers on a Saturday Night in Death Valley. And last but certainly not least, Candice enjoys spending time with their rescue pup Rosie!
