Lisa is a former prosecutor, and senior trial lawyer who represented the District of Columbia as a senior assistant Attorney General. Throughout her career, she has handled major complex civil litigation, heavily centered on constitutional tort violations and government liability.  Her extensive litigation work on complex legal issues and document intensive cases, ranges from handling evidentiary motions, discovery matters, and emergency requests for injunctive relief. Her work affords her private clients a keen eye on identifying and developing case strategy and winnable paths to achieve targets, reduce costs, and meet goals. • Obtained favorable settlement over licensing regulations for construction of telecommunications/cable provider with damages.
• Obtained defense verdict for violations of state/local licensing regulations by telecommunications/cable provider.
• Represented energy provider obtaining successful outcome establishing new facility.
• Assisted and resolved Telephone Consumer Protection Act disputes for service providers.

Labor/Employment

• Obtained a summary judgment for healthcare corporation over shareholder/director whistleblower claims shareholder.
• Defended Fortune 500 company with Department of Labor wage/hour audit and investigation regarding overtime, employee classifications and time and attendance to dismissal of all claims with no penalties or sanctions.
• Defended several class action lawsuits involving race/age discrimination, sexual harassment, and retaliation of several hundred employees with a 85% reduction of money damages sought by plaintiffs.

Government Contracts

• Successfully defended Naval government contractor awaiting $10M contract by dismissing debarment proceedings.
• Trained and assisted small- to mid-sized Fortune 400 companies across industries on competitive bidding issues, OFCCP regulations, compliance reviews, government audits, and remedial relief plans.

• Successful defense of multi-plaintiff sexual harassment lawsuit winning $50M litigation with no judgment costs, and establishing new policies for remediation.
