Prior to joining Practus, Sharon worked at various investment management companies and fund administrators, including Transamerica Asset Management, Inc., SS&C / ALPS Fund Services Inc., and AXA Equitable’s Funds Management Group. Sharon is well versed in the preparation and review of registration statements, proxy statements and other regulatory filings for mutual funds, closed-end funds, exchange-traded funds, and interval funds, and offering memorandums for collective investment trusts. She provides board administration services, including board calendaring, and drafting agendas, resolutions, and board meeting minutes. Sharon served as Secretary of Principal Real Estate Income Fund and as Assistant Secretary of Financial Investors Trust, ALPS ETF Trust, and Clough Funds Trust. She is commissioned as a notary public for the State of Colorado.
After many years in New York City, Sharon moved to Denver in 2013 to be closer to family. She loves to travel, especially enjoying the mountains of Mexico and the megacities of Asia. Sharon enjoys experiencing new restaurants with her friends as well as burning off those calories with TRX personal training, hiking in the Rocky Mountains, and biking around her neighborhood. Sharon is an avid reader and dabbles in painting with acrylics.
