Sharmila Singh has over 20 years of experience as an Investment Company Act paralegal. Prior to joining Practus, Sharmila worked at various investment management companies including Neuberger Berman, Cerberus Capital Management and Cantor Fitzgerald. She is well versed in the Investment Company Act of 1940 and related SEC rules and regulations. She has extensive experience supporting the preparation and review of board materials, corporate records, and regulatory filings. She is proficient in coordinating governance processes, managing complex transactions and ensuring timely, accurate SEC disclosures.
Outside of work, Sharmila loves spending time with her family, friends and dog, Priya. She is either on the tennis courts, working out, hiking, gardening or off to the theater. She loves cooking and being outdoors majority of the time. On the weekends Sharmila enjoys visiting farm to table restaurants or playing Mahjong with family and friends.
