Andy specializes in employment law, general litigation, and estate planning. In his more than 20 years as an attorney, Andy's clients have ranged from large banks to Fortune 100 companies, to four Major League Baseball teams, and to individual couples and families planning for their futures.
He has extensive experience with employment-related investigations and executive compensation issues, as well as litigation and trial of discrimination and harassment claims. Prior to joining Practus, Andy served as Chief Operating Officer of the Violence Intervention Program Community Mental Health Center in Los Angeles. After graduating from law school, Andy clerked for the Hon. Robert Kelleher of the United States District Court for the Central District of California and the Hon. Pamela Rymer of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit before joining Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker in Los Angeles.
In 2006, Andy and his then-girlfriend, now-wife Melissa sold their possessions, bought a sailboat and shoved off to sail around the world, returning in 2014. In addition to having traveled to 60 countries, Andy is an avid lover of Italian wine, the Los Angeles Dodgers, the USC Trojans, and Tottenham Hotspur. He is a walking encyclopedia of cricket.
