As part of the acquisition process, he has reviewed and revised loan documents, including playing a lead role in drafting loan documents for a secured bridge loan to a local brewery. As a litigator, Andrew serves as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through the complexities of litigation with clarity and confidence.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering in the community, playing golf, and cheering on the LSU Tigers, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Chicago Bears.

Prior to joining Practus, Andrew Vining served as a Senior Associate at a national creditor’s rights law firm and later as an Associate Attorney at Taylor Duma LLP (formerly Taylor English).
At his first firm, Andrew developed deep experience in foreclosure, bankruptcy, and real estate matters. He played a central role in the bankruptcy practice, successfully representing clients in court—including the published decision In re Paylor. As a member of the firm’s Bankruptcy Practice Group, he regularly contributed insights on both national and local developments in bankruptcy law. He also trained newly admitted attorneys in North Carolina about the intricacies of foreclosure and federal bankruptcy law, while managing a high-volume caseload.
At Taylor Duma, Andrew broadened his practice to include commercial real estate, general litigation, and corporate transactions. He began by handling complex real estate matters such as multimillion-dollar refinancings, loan document drafting and review, property acquisitions, and leasing in both retail and industrial sectors.
His practice has evolved to include litigation support and corporate advisory services. On the litigation side, Andrew helps manage cases involving zoning disputes, eminent domain, construction defects, breach of contract, and business-related conflicts.
