The Mecklenburg Bar Association has announced Practus partner Andrew Vining will chair its Business Law Section for 2026-2027. An active member of the Charlotte-area business development and growth community, Vining previously served as Co-Vice Chair of the MBA’s Business Law Section. “This section,” says Vining, “has long been a cornerstone for business law practitioners in our community, and I look forward to following in the footsteps of the talented leaders who preceded me and shaping the section’s direction over the coming year.”
Vining advises businesses across the corporate lifecycle, from entity formation and capital raising to mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts and day-to-day operations. He also brings experience in commercial leasing, real estate transactions and general litigation, giving clients practical, business-focused counsel aligned with their strategic objectives.
