Sana Swe leverages 20+ years of law firm and in-house experience as an employment lawyer to help clients navigate a range of complex issues arising under state and federal employment laws.
In addition to helping employers comply with workplace-related laws and regulations, Sana represents them in adversarial proceedings involving employment-related issues, such as discrimination, wage and hour, employee mobility, and whistleblower issues. Sana prepares employment policies and procedures and additionally manages all phases of individual, representative, and class action litigation, as well as proceedings involving governmental entities, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Department of Labor (DOL), and in California, the Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH) and the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE).
Sana is also an experienced investigator and workplace trainer.
Before joining Practus, an employment law partner in a global firm, a lawyer in her own private practice, and an in-house employment attorney, Sana’s overriding objective was to give clients expert, yet pragmatic and solution-focused, legal representation. This remains her objective at Practus.
When she’s not working, you’ll find her hanging out with her dogs, watching a Nordic thriller, or rooting for an NFL team with great, but embarrassing, quarterbacks.
