Molly works closely with our Co-Founder Robert Elwood in our Financial Services practice group. She serves as business manager and paralegal for Robert. Among other things, Molly suggests best practices to improve the flow of work and communication among his clients, other Practus lawyers, and third parties. Molly also makes SEC filings and helps to form new companies.
Molly approaches her role as business manager and paralegal to the Co-Founder with the same attention to detail, enthusiasm for research, and efficiency of communication she developed in her prior 20 years of theater acting in New York, across the country, and overseas. Molly’s recent teaching work in the Theatre Program at Bryn Mawr College helped bridge that value system to the arena of law.
Molly and her partner, Lee, have a delightful preschooler named Theo. They just moved to a Gothic fixer upper in the historic Germantown section of Philadelphia. Molly is passionate about language, serious about making people laugh, and determined to photograph flowers at dawn. She makes a daily practice of cleaning up litter in her neighborhood, and proudly serves on the board of Trash2Treasure, an organization dedicated to removing illegally dumped material from the streets of Philadelphia. Molly founded the West Philadelphia Shakespeare Reading Group, which she led from 2016-2020.
