Beth is an Outsourced General Counsel to private-equity and venture-backed emerging and growth-stage companies, primarily with SaaS-based businesses. She founded her prior firm, Nimbus Legal and Auxana, a marketplace for companies and outsourced general counsel attorneys, to create innovative solutions for these companies and attorneys with a subscription-based, flat monthly fee offering. An Outsourced General Counsel is a strategic resource for companies, utilizing existing company resources and technology to manage consumption of legal services.

Beth is involved in the day-to-day business of her clients, providing proactive and real-time advice on operational, sales, and strategic risk management decisions. Beth works with companies to create processes for, negotiate, and manage, customer and vendor contracts, using technology-based solutions for corporate governance, equity issuance and management, in addition to assisting outside counsel with IP, M&A, and HR/employment matters.

Beth’s “why” is to give companies the tools for the intelligent consumption of legal services and to provide value. Beth has 10 years of experience advising entrepreneurs and businesses on corporate governance, data and privacy, financing matters, and transactions, including M&A and private placements, helping launch several companies through seed and Series A rounds, and representing private-equity backed growth companies through acquisition strategies. A writer at heart, she loves working with entrepreneurs and innovative businesses, helping tell the story of their idea through growth.

Having graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans for undergrad, she returns to the city each year for the music and food. Beth also lived briefly in London while working in politics and media. She loves brainstorming with friends, reading and collecting books, old blues records, spa days, food and wine with stimulating conversation, traveling for new adventures, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
