Susanna has performed strategic consulting regarding complex law and policy questions, including preparing talking points for CEOs meeting with government officials and advising startups and nonprofits on public relations and crisis management. Additionally, Susanna was Special Counsel to the United States Senate Judiciary Committee, where she worked on the confirmation hearing of a nominee to the United States Supreme Court, including analyzing the writings of the nominee and drafting questions and talking points for the Senators. Susanna has also published numerous law review articles, magazine articles, and op-eds about law and policy topics, primarily the First Amendment and judicial selection.
She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy and Line Editor for the Harvard International Law Journal. She then joined the trial and appellate section of Baker Botts L.L.P. She subsequently served as of counsel at Alexander, Dubose, Jones & Townsend LLP. Most recently, she served as of counsel at the litigation boutique Seiler Mitby, PLLC.

Represented individuals in bankruptcy litigation, arguing a case before the Fifth Circuit.
Defended the constitutionality of inserting “under God” into the Texas pledge, a memorial containing a Bible at a Houston courthouse, and seeking the death penalty for child rape before the United States Supreme Court, during her time working at the Solicitor General’s office.
