George Walker provides a broad range of legal, business, and tax planning counsel to his clients. George helps business owners plan for success and growth, anticipate potential disputes, and compare succession and/or exit strategies throughout their business life cycle. After carefully considering his client’s objectives, studying the proposed ventures, and weighing the attendant tax and industry trends, George advises clients through every stage of their business needs including, establishing the business, selecting the appropriate entity type, drafting operating and ownership agreements that reduce the risk of future disputes and hiring employees. George’s clients range from for-profit and non-profit entities, startup companies, mature businesses, and foreign nationals planning for unique transactions.
Following undergraduate studies in International Relations and French (with honors), George served on the legislative staff of a U.S. Congressman on the House Financial Services Committee. He then entered Georgetown University law school with an interest in corporate and international business. Relocating to France, and then to Switzerland where he earned a Master of Laws in International Business at the University of Fribourg, he further concentrated his practice on international dispute resolutions involving specific multilateral treaties. Returning to the US in 2011, George later earned a Master of Laws degree in taxation.
